June 10, 2007: PRAYER: Please be in prayer for Margaret, who will be undergoing some minor surgery in July. May 4, 2007: JEFF EBERHART: Please pray for our friend and part-time member Jeff Eberhart. Jeff has been having cardio problems again and cannot go with us on our trip to Oklahoma. He is scheduled to have a procedure performed (though not surgery) in early May. Please be in prayer for Jeff, his family and the doctors. April 26, 2007: The Christian Heritage Yard Sale will take place on Fri. and Sat., Apr. 27 and 28 at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church, 2758 Mann Rd. in Winston, GA. The event will benefit both the group and the church. We hope to see you there! March 17, 2007: Terry and Nancy were officially married on Mar. 4. Pictures are now up on the Website. February 27, 2007: Wally Holland, sound man for Christian Heritage, has accepted the call to take over the pastor's position at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Winston, Ga. Wally and his wife, Christian Heritage lead vocalist Diane Holland, have been members of Lighthouse for several years. The Hollands want to reassure the fans of Christian Heritage that nothing will change as far as the group goes, and Wally remains as their sound man. The church's previous pastor, Robert Bell, and his wife, Angie, will soon be moving to Texas. February 10, 2007: The Douglas County Sentinel has written an article about Christian Heritage! Click here to read! January 14, 2007: Terry and Nancy have announced that they will officially wed on Mar. 4! The ceremony will be a private one with friends and family. December 23, 2006: Our new CD, "Everybody Has To Go Home Sometime," is now available at most of our shows! We know you'll love this new project and feel that you will be truly blessed by it. October 1, 2006: Christian Heritage hits Number One again! We would like to thank the members of Metro Atlanta Country Music (they also promote gospel music!) for voting "The Footprints Of Jesus" as our third song to reach the top of their Hot Southern Gospel chart, sitting at Number One for September, and again for October! September 4, 2006: Christian Heritage completed the recording of their fifth CD on Sun., Sept. 3 at Lamp Music South. To be titled "Everybody Has To Go Home," the new project should be available at Christian Heritage shows by late in the year. July 5, 2006: Terry and Nancy are getting married! Nancy, who is celebrating her birthday, found a nice surprise in her birthday cake. An engagement ring! The two are talking about a Christmastime wedding. April 9, 2006: Brittani Michele will appear on WATC TV-57's "Atlanta Live" on Monday night (April 10) at 7 p.m. Zack Flowers will also appear. Be sure to watch! April 9, 2006: Margaret's officially retired! March 19, 2006: Margaret's officially retiring in two weeks. No, REALLY SHE IS! March 14, 2006: The Mike Shelby Benefit, held on Feb. 25 at the Waleska Church of God of Prophecy in Waleska, Ga., raised nearly $1,300 for Brother Mike, who is the lead singer of national gospel group Eternal Vision. Thanks to everyone who came out to support this cause, and to Brittani Michele, The Watchers and The Lighthouse Kidz drama team for participating. Jan. 2, 2006: "Going For The Gold" came in at No. 2 on the Metro Atlanta Country Music poll for January, down a notch from the top in December but still a very strong showing. Thanks to all of our fans for voting us so high again! Dec. 9, 2005: Christian Heritage has won the award for Top Southern Gospel Recording Group from Metro Atlanta Country Music for the year 2005! The award is based on votes by members from January through December of this year. Additionally "What A Morning" was ranked as the No. 4 song of the year, and "I'm Going For The Gold" (also ranked No. 1 for the month of December!) was No. 8 for the year. Thank you to all the fans!! Oct. 29, 2005: Our new CD, "Homeward Flight," is now available! All ten songs were written by our very own Margaret Henry. Look for the new project at most of our shows. Oct. 9, 2005: New online Southern Gospel radio station The Light, based here in the Atlanta area, has added Christian Heritage to their playlist. In rotation right now are "Going For The Gold" (from our new CD), "Pages Of Gold" and "What A Morning." Connect to The Light right here! Oct. 9, 2005: Our October 1st concert at Red Eagle Prison in Montgomery was a success! We performed in front of about 50 people, and it was touching to see so many there that have dedicated their lives to the Lord's service. Sept. 3, 2005: NUMBER ONE! Click here to view a copy the chart. Jul. 17, 2005: Christian Heritage was in the studio yesterday at Lamp Music South to record our fourth CD. It only took about eight hours to complete the project. We feel that you'll really enjoy it! It will contain ten new songs and should be released within the next few months. Keep watching for more updates! Jun. 19, 2005: Recording, which was to take place on Jun. 25, has had to be postponed again to a later date, that of which is still in the air. We will be performing that evening at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Winston, along with David & Lynn Gresham and In His Steps. Ricky Perkins, who was to perform that evening, has had to cancel his scheduled performance. Jun. 15, 2005: Recording for our new album had to be postponed until Jun. 25, due to illness at the record label over the weekend. The Jun. 25 date with David & Lynn Gresham and Ricky Perkins at Lighthouse Full Gospel is tentative, depending on what time the recording session ends. The Greshams and Ricky, will, however, be there either way. She is still in the hospital at Kennestone. Please continue to lift her and her family up in your prayers. May 14, 2005: Margaret's daughter, Janice Henry Stevens, is in the hospital at Kennestone and is very ill. A diagnosis has not been made. Please be in prayer for Janice and her family. May 14, 2005: Terry is out of the hospital and is doing just fine. He was at Friday night practice and is as mean as ever! :) May 8, 2005: Christian Heritage lead guitarist Terry Skinner had a heart attack while getting off from work on Thursday evening (May 5). He was taken to Douglas General Hospital in Douglasville and then to Atlanta's Piedmont Hospital. He had an angioplasty performed and more surgery is scheduled to take place on Mon., May 9. He is expected to recover fully and plans now are for him to be released on Tuesday or Wednesday. Terry, who is blind, cannot read get well wishes, but if you would like to leave him a message on the guestbook then we will be more than happy to make sure he hears them! May 8, 2005: Denise, Brittani's mother, will have some more treatment for her thyroid on May 9. Please be in prayer for her as she seeks answers.
