| Christian Heritage was established in February, 1998. Here is an introduction to our group: MARGARET HENRY, SONGWRITER AND ALTO SINGER - Margaret is in her 70's and is retired. She has a home church ministry at Tabernacle of Faith in Douglasville, Ga. and travels with Christian Heritage. She is all of our inspiration, and our driving force to keep singing for Jesus. An awesome friend to all that know and love her. Better known as Meemaw to most everyone. DIANE HOLLAND, SINGS LEAD - Diane manages the group and does all of our bookings. Keeps us going financially and spiritually. She is the sister of Dale Washington and we could not make it without her. Diane and Dale have been singing since they were little girls, and sang first with Forest Tidwell and The Joybells when Dale was thirteen and Diane was seventeen. DALE WASHINGTON, SINGS TENOR AND LEAD ON A LOT OF OUR MUSIC - Dale works fulltime at K-Mart in Douglasville. And K-Mart is an extension of her ministry. "Harvesting Fields" is her favorite song that Margaret has written. Dale says "I truly believe that our workplace is a field and we have to till the land daily, because we are held accountable for souls that we touch on a daily basis." HAROLD WASHINGTON, BASS GUITAR, BUS DRIVER AND KEEPS THE BUS MAINTAINED - Harold is Dale's husband. He has only played the bass for a short time. Originally played the rhythm guitar. He learned his music skills from Margaret. She taught him how to play, just by watching her. Harold and Margaret are first cousins. RONNIE FOLSOM, DRUMMER - Ronnie has been drummer for the group since 1998. He has the best lick and his own style to his drum playing style. He is a devout Christian and is very loyal to the group. He never misses a date, and looks forward to weekly practice sessions and singing appointments. TERRY SKINNER, LEAD GUITAR AND ARRANGES THE MUSIC TO SOME OF OUR SONGS - Terry started with the group after Verdell Washington was called out to meet the Lord suddenly in January, 2003. He is totally blind, but you would never know from the sound of his music skills. He is an awesome person and musician. SUSAN SHIPP, SOUND - Susan runs the controls for Christian Heritage at each show. Heather is our fill-in drummer. She plays when we show some versatility. Heather is in her mid-teens. The Soggy Gospel Boys is a comedy skit that was first originated "at Redemption Music Theatre." Brainstorm of James Wright. The guys have a lot of fun doing this and our audience loves it. It is only added to our program by special request. If we come to your church to sing, make sure you invite the Soggy Gospel Boys for a lot of laughs and fun. We love and appreciate all of our family and friends that truly support our ministry. We could not have made it without all of you. And most of all we want to honor and glorify the Lord. Because it's all about Him. We are on a mission to win the lost to Jesus and to lift everyone up through our songs. We would especially like to thank our record label - Lamp Music Group, and our Webmaster Don Adkisson for doing such an awesome job in designing our Website. Thank you Don for all of your help. We love you. -bio written by Dale Washington and Don Adkisson - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Visits to this page since April 16, 2005
